Middle East: Digital signage market on the rise

Digital signage is not only a hit in the West, but even in the Middle East.

Advanced Interactive Media Solutions (AIMS) staged the continuing growth of digital signage market in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) zone at the recent Digital Signage Conference in Moscow, Russia.

With over 100 completed projects in the Arab region, AIMS seeks to strengthen the company’s development further as it expounds on the company’s knowledge of the local environment, digital communication concepts, and the organization’s ability to carry out plans to execution.

“In an increasingly digitized environment where customers are equipped with both the technology and the media, a brand to become success must be committed to a customer-centric perspective and all customer touch points must be aligned and synchronized,” Ahmed ElRidi, AIMS CEO, said in a press release.

“This is where digital signage plays a vital role in channel marketing, as it enables the brand to visually connect the consumer at a critical point.”

ElRidi exhibited AIMS’ successful projects in UAE wherein digital signage effectively appealed to different companies—both multinational and local—to take part in trade exhibitions.

Digital Signage reinforces the “social” messages consumers are pre-exposed to, and at the same time, it also serves as a “keystone” communication channel, ElRidi mentioned.

AIMS, based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is an official partner of SCALA in the Middle East and is the top digital signage solutions provider in the GCC.
